Farley’s Hair Salon can proudly boast to being Hitchin’s first Vegan and gender neutral salon, opening its doors in 2007 and still operating under the same ethics as we did when we first put our vision into practice.

As we've grown we've become an increasingly active part of the community, hosting gallery nights featuring local artists whose work we proudly display on our walls, hosting live music and charity events in the shop, selling tickets to, advertising and promoting other local events happening around town.

We are also the organisers of the annual Hermitage Road Day and The Walsworth Festival gatherings, the latter being one of Hertfordshire's largest free festivals.

Farley's is also the HQ of the national award winning H-Town Classic and Dub Club. An all inclusive monthly classic car gathering that has people traveling from all over the UK to attend its meets in and around our beautiful town, a town with a very rich history represented in the salon's library of local history books and its online @HISTORICHITCHIN twitter account.

Very much a local hub for all things creative in and around Hertfordshire and beyond.

Farley's are also very proud to have been Hitchin's first vegan hair salon, having spent many hours researching and developing our own way of creating an ethical, cruelty free salon environment.

As you can tell, Farley's is so much more than a hair salon. It is a very proud and active part of the local community, past, present and future.
