We can now recycle your hair thanks to our partnership with Green Salon Collective.

We’ve resisted as long as we could, but inline with business costs rising across the board we’ve finally had to put our prices up. We want to remain excellent value for money at Farley’s, so we’ve put our charges up as little as possible to cover increasing costs and no more. This ensures we can still deliver the service you love, and helps us to remain as cruelty free and as earth friendly as possible whilst still being able to pay the bills!

New prices go into effect immediately. Thank you all so much for staying with and supporting Farley’s since we opened in Hitchin 19 years ago!

We now offer a Keratin blow dry service at Farley’s. Kalona Keratin is a professional salon smoothing system designed to eliminate frizz, repair damaged hair, and enhance shine.

The range includes a Smoothing Solution, Hydrating Mask, and aftercare maintenance products like sulfate-free shampoo and conditioning oil, aimed at delivering long-lasting, sleek results.

We’ve been getting lots of annoying cancellations and no-shows recently, so as much as we’d rather not, we’re going to have to impose some new rules….

CANCELLATION FEES

Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply if you fail to give at least 24 hours’ notice that you will not be able to make your appointment.

‘No shows’ will be required to prepay for the next service to secure future bookings. Repeat ‘no shows’ will have to pay in advance permanently.

It won’t effect 99% of you lovely people, but please be aware….Thank you.

Farley’s Hair Salon can proudly boast to being Hitchin’s first Vegan and gender neutral salon, opening its doors in 2007 and still operating under the same ethics as we did when we first put our vision into practice.

As we've grown we've become an increasingly active part of the community, hosting gallery nights featuring local artists whose work we proudly display on our walls, hosting live music and charity events in the shop, selling tickets to, advertising and promoting other local events happening around town.
